Man, it's been a while since I posted on here, almost 5 months.

Things are going pretty good, the only complaint I have about my life right now is that I don't have a job. And before you start with the whole "try McDonald's or Walmart"...I have. No callbacks or anything, and when I called them they said they weren't looking to hire, even though they hired some of my friends a week or two after I applied. Crazy how the world works.

Still, it's not enough to deter me, and in a direct response to my last journal on here, when I was talking about how tough it was for me and my medication...I went cold turkey. It's now been about 2-3 months since I've taken any meds, and even though it was hard for the first 3 weeks, now I'm doing awesome, and I finally feel content and happy with my life, even if it's not the way I pictured things. Best of all, all of the lessons and tools I learned during the winter and early spring with my therapists are working, and I've not once felt overly suicidal like I used to back in the day, meds or not. Definitely the best I've felt in a long time

I swear I'll get on my solo music project one of these days, but it's not like I haven't been practicing. In fact, Vaylon got me a pretty sweet-ass Fender acoustic-electric guitar, definitely the best tone for a guitar I've had as far as acoustics go. Working on some new covers and just messing around with it. Hopefully I'll have the demo out by the end of the summer, though if I can get it out before 2010 hits I'll be fine.

School is going in an interesting direction, as I am going to switch back to Music Education. I was touring the new high school in Browning the other day and just had an itch to teach again, so we'll see how that goes. Might also try to find out where the culinary school is in Missoula, if there is one, and try to become a sous chef.

Last bit of information is that I'm in a documentary, they've got quite a bit of footage already but want a lot more. So far they have a sit-down talk with me, and then later my mom and dad, and then some footage of when I had to do voice juries for school. Hopefully this weekend during Indian Days(hells yes) we can get some footage of me practicing with Nothing Survives, but we'll see how it all works out.
